An Exciting (And Busy) Time.

     I'll start off with an apology. It's been far too long since I've made a post. I told myself when I started this blog that I would aim for once a week--but that hasn't happened yet. However, I do hope to get it all on track moving forward for those of you who graciously read this!

    And now, on to the life update!

    This past month has been an incredibly exciting and busy one. I have had some awesome opportunities as well as new life changes all in the past couple of weeks. I feel simultaneously excited and a bit overwhelmed!

    Let's start off with the first one, which is my daily change in schedule. For the past two years I have been working from home as a freelance writer. This has been fun and freeing, but not exactly financially great. So, I am happy to say that I was able to accept a more stable job working here in Tampere! It may be temporary, it may be long term, but for now it's exciting. 

    The catch is, well, it is a major life shift. I have become all too accustomed to making my own hours and being as creative as I want during the days. I have been able to film content, write stories, plan future content, etc., All at my leisure. Now, I am tied down by a more strict schedule. First world problems, I know. 

    The great thing is, though, that I have been able to continue to peruse my social media goals, as well as continue crating content that I enjoy making. This is definitely a plus and something that I hope can lead to more exciting opportunities in the future. Which leads me to the second exciting development--or rather two. 

    In the span of just a week, I was able to be featured in not one but two major Finnish news outlets! Both Ilta-Sanomat and Aamulehti graciously took the time to write about me, my life in Finland, and feature me with some other wonderful creators in their articles. 

    The response from both articles was insane. I remember waking up on the release day and seeing literally hundreds of notifications on my phone from Finns who had just discovered me through these articles. I was blown away at how interested they seemed in me and my content, and got a renewed sense that this content I make is something that people really do enjoy--despite my self doubt. 

    These types of opportunities may be few and far between, but they are a blessing all the same. It's absolutely amazing what I have been able to do and experience since moving to Finland and beginning my TikTok and Instagram adventure. I am blown away by the fact that so many of you are actively interested in me and my life. 

    These opportunities open doors in and of themselves. Each day I find myself growing in followers, as well as skill in my own creative process. This steady growth continues to generate new adventures and chances to experience Finland and it's culture in the most exciting ways. For that, I am humbled and grateful. I really do hope that I can keep making content that all of you enjoy engaging with, as it is always so fun for me as well. 

    So, with all of that said, I want to end on this. My life is a bit chaotic at the moment, but it is going in the right direction. I may have to adapt to new schedule changes, but my heart and passion is still in creativity. I can't wait to see what new doors open, and what new ideas I can create with this renewed sense of wonder with my creation process. 

    I have some pretty big ideas that I am working on, some involving my videos and some involving my writing. I will do my best to keep you all in the loop and keep you updated along the way. But for now,
